Janka Varmuza and her family have been living on Sanibel island since 2004. She and her husband discovered the island while traveling across country, instantly fell in love with it and within the week ended up buying a home on the island.
Janka was born and raised in the former Czechoslovakia. After graduating from Economics University with B.S. degree in Human Resources & Economics, and Masters degree in Business Administration she worked for several US multinational corporations as a senior HR manger encompassing three European countries and European Operations Manager in the field of management consulting.
Janka’s passion for real estate came as a result of extensive travel both in Europe and U.S. admiring different architectural styles and designs. She always enjoyed being involved in real estate transactions, remodeled several homes and overseen new construction for herself, family and friends.
Utilizing extensive experience in project & operational management in a multinational environment gave Janka the opportunity to start a new career and turn her passion for real estate and working with people into a full time profession proudly joining the VIP Real Estate team in 2016.
Janka has exceptional organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple situations and projects simultaneously with focus, direction and enthusiasm. She is both goal and detail oriented and has the ability to asses, comprehend and manage multiple tasks. She is self motivated and has excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. Currently serving as a 3-year Director on Sanibel & Captiva Islands Association Board of Directors, and also Communication & PR Committee, as well as Professional Development Committee at the Sanibel Captiva Islands Realtors Association.
On a personal level Janka is involved in community service and volunteer work. She feels very fortunate and grateful to be able to raise her family on this beautiful island.
