One of the reasons Edison and Ford came to SWFL all those years ago was to fish off Punta Rassa. They were not the only ones who knew that our islands and this area are a fisherman’s paradise! No wonder there are so many tournaments throughout the year. Recently, VIP Vacation Rentals GM, Keith McMenamy, his son Tate and their friend, Avery Hall placed third in the Captiva Spring Classic with a total of 289″. During the 2-day tournament, they brought in the Best 2 Snook, 2 Redfish and 2 Trout each day. They also caught the largest Redfish, measuring a whopping 34.5″!
