Introducing Dan Wexler: Like many people who live on Sanibel and Captiva, Dan Wexler’s connection to the islands began more than 60 years ago when his grandparents relocated from Connecticut to Sanibel. On day one during a Sanibel vacation, Dan’s grandfather caught a Pompano off the beach, and that made his decision; Sanibel was where he wanted to be. For Dan’s Grandmother it was the shelling which became a passion she carried on until she was 101 years old and still living in the house, they bought in the Tradewinds neighborhood in 1962.
It took Dan a while longer to make his full-time move here, as his career first took him to New York and Washington, DC, where he worked in finance and government. His degree in Economics from Boston College was put to good use there. Finally in 2005, Dan and his wife, former CBS NEWS Producer Arlene Dillon, along with their two daughters made Sanibel their forever home.
Over his career, one mandate has risen above others – customer service. For Dan, this is the most important quality: providing insightful Information and excellent service that ensures a smooth, successful transaction, whether it be a golf course condo or beachfront home. His island roots run deep, and his clients appreciate it!
