JAYNE Lumley is a very successful realtor at VIP! I want to bring this to your attention immediately because you may be confusing her with Baroness JANE Lumley, the first person to translate the Greek tragedies, written by Euripides, into English. All right then. Now that we have that cleared up, and I know there are a host of Euripides fans out there, let’s move on to the important matters at hand!
VIP PETS: IZZIE and GUCCI
Aren’t they adorable? And they are Jayne’s granddogs so she gets to play with them, spoil them rotten and send them home! The best of all worlds! Introducing Izzie the Havanese. He is a spunky three-year-old, who, like most Havanese, is intelligent, outgoing and funny. He may be a toy dog, but he is far from delicate and enjoys a good romp on the beaches of Sanibel and Captiva with Jayne. He does his best to contain himself and not totally annoy the mature, eleven-year-old , Gucci.
Gucci is a Shorkie, a Yorkie, Shih Tzu mix. Gucci may be small, but she is playful, likes to swim and is very affectionate. Lucky for them that Jayne loves outdoor activities too, especially boating, biking and walking through the many preserves on Sanibel. The Bailey Homestead is a particular favorite of Izzie and Gucci because Pond Apple Trail is usually teaming with birds and there’s lots of shady places to rest their little legs!
Jayne is especially appreciative of the warm weather and blue skies of Sanibel and Captiva, as she is from Orangeville, Ontario, Canada, originally. Orangeville? That sounds like the name of a Florida town! No, her hometown was named for Orange Lawrence, who owned mills in this south central Ontario town in the 1860s. But, perhaps, growing up in Orangeville set Jayne on the path to relocate to Florida. And we are so lucky that she did! Jayne has lived in Southwest Florida for 23 years. She knows real estate and she knows Sanibel and Captiva! It is no surprise that she has been recognized as the VIP Listing Associate of the Month AND 5 STAR Award recipient for 15 consecutive years!
