A place for sand, surf and serenity! nowhere will you experience a true surf and sand lifestyle than in a South Seas Plantation’s private Beach Cottages.  All twenty-six cottages, consisting of duplex and fourplex units, overlooking Captiva’s natural shell sand beach and the Gulf of Mexico.

Nestled among six acres of tropical island vegetation, these low density Beach Cottages have been designed for maximum privacy and greenspace.  Floor plans feature versatile living space in either two bedroom, two bath units or two bedroom plus sleeping loft units.  Heated pool, gas grills, and tennis courts are private to our residents.  600′ of Gulf frontage.

You’ll discover both the pleasure of South Seas Resort.  Nestled in a 330 acres wildlife preserve which spans two and a half miles of pristine white sand beaches.

The beach goes 5 miles to Redfish Pass at the tip northern tip of Captiva.  Captiva Drive is a scenic drive past tropical flowers, large cactus, sand and sea ending at the quaint old Florida style downtown.

Captiva is the little sister to neighboring Sanibel Island which is just across a small bridge for a trip to The Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge & Bird Sanctuary.
