The Sanibel-Captiva Kiwanis Club has initiated its second major fund raiser of the year, the very popular Diner’s Delight coupon books. As you may know, Kiwanis is a service group of volunteers who work to support our island youth with scholarships, grants and community projects. In addition to raising funds for the youth programs, these coupons help local restaurants and food establishments add customers during the slower Summer and early Fall months. It’s nice to get these savings while we explore new places too! Kiwanis is asking a $40 donation for each book of 23 coupons. I bought a book last year and it paid for itself after using only 3 coupons. It’s a great value and a lot of fun!
